Blackjack is one of the most common and popular casino games all over the world. It is mostly played with a common deck of 52 cards.  Dealers with the players are the players and the dealer will have to give the cards according to some rules. The main objective of the game is to defeat the dealer by coming aa close to 21 as possible. Ace can be treated as 1 or 11 according to the rule set up and face cards give 10 value.  So, the one who gets the sum closest to 21 will be the winner.

Dealer’s work:

Dealer, with the other players, will sit around like a circle. The bet amount is set. A 6 set deck of cards is commonly used and if not, 4 can also be used. The pack of cards is shuffled and there will be a plastic card in the middle so as to know the time when should shuffling to be done.  After the shuffling, the dealer asks any player to cut so that the card that was below the cut are separated and won’t be used.

The first card is given to all by having its face up. And the second card is also given by having its face down. But the dealer will have the second card, facing up, as he is the one who gets the card at last.

The cards were observed and the order is being followed till the one gets the number closest to 21. If initially, one gets an ace and a face card, then he will be the winner and it is called natural. In the case of natural, the winner will get 1.5 times the total bet amount.  If there is a tie, the amount will be halved.  And if anyone wins in a normal way, they will get the total bet amount. 

There is a myth that this game is more favorable for the one who knows mathematics well can win this game. It is not correct as in the end, it only depends on the type of card that one gets. So it is also a pure game of chance like roulette but there are certain strategies to play this game, unlike roulette. It is quite a common game in casinos and even in India.
